From my intro, you can see that I am new to blogging however I am ready to take this leap to truly be a help to our nation. If I help none but 1 person I am pleased as is God. To help is my purpose so here goes nothing:
FAMILY TIES
As children we grow up feeling like our parents are our ultimate protectors and our sisters and brothers are our family soldiers. Not soldiers like military soldiers but family soldiers. When one has been wronged by another person we ALL have been wronged. So from here what did we do: come together against the world and stand strong together as one.
But what do you do when your mom was addicted to drugs, father cares less about you, and brothers and sisters fight one another on a daily basis?
Most become products of their society and a victim to their own disruptive mind. They allow their flesh to rule over their lives instead of following and chasing after Christ. Liquor and anger consumes you and all you can do is drink, yell, fight, and hurt those who love you. You think the world is against you and you just cannot see reality for what it truly is.
Open your eyes to the destruction of self that is taking place. Your fleshly body is being guided by satan while your spiritual man is dying inside. Craving to be fed so that all of the desires of your heart can be fulfilled.
Take care of your spirit, love your self, seek out happiness from the inside out, and truly commit yourself to the unfailing love of GOD!
Blessings to All ❣
Family ties are very important and a sweet aroma to God. We tend to forget about who we are and who’s we are as we attempt to muddle through our daily stresses. We forget to remember that the battle is the Lord’s as we attempt to fight it on our own. Unfortunately, we forget about family members during all the bickering and arguing, casting siblings and parents to the side, but one thing is for sure, when one of you are feeling pressure and stress, the rest of the family does too. We forget about how we affect each other and how we could stop the madness by forgiving and moving foward as a family. One thing most families lack is the presence of God in our lives. Most of us grow up in a church, but fail to understand WHY we are there in the first place. No one taught us except for how to be quiet in church, sit like young ladies and gents, and no chewing gum. The Bible tells us to “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it” and this is what we all should be doing with our children. We must build a foundation for our children, a foundation based upon the Word of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Mommamav this is an EXCELLENT contribution to this post. You are absolutely right we are only taught to be good in church and miss the entire reason why we should be there. That’s very true for me as a child going to church with my grandmother. No one ever taught me the greatness of the Bible and why I need to submit to God. I, just like many others, am trying to find my way throughout my walk. I’m learning so much now but could you only imagine where I could be if I had Christ as my foundation growing up. Some of my own issues with family could have been handled differently than they are and have been handled in the past.
